Duty of the dragonflights

A big drawing done for a contest ! It take a full month to finish the sketch, it's only pencil ! The coloring quality is poor but meh, didn't have the time to do much more and i'm still practicing my photoshop skill...

So here we go, a summary of the story of  the dragonflight (I know, I forget some things !)
From the left bottom column to the top right.

                                                  ----Black dragonflight ----

Neltharion convince the Aspect to create a weapon to eradicate the deamons. (Here with Sintharia).

Neltharion betrays the others flights and the defender of Azeroth and use the Dragon soul against them.

Several millennia after, Deathwing get through the dark portal to hide his eggs in Outland, creating the first nether dragons.

Sintharia is leading experiences to create the first twilight dragon, Dargonax, using the essence of a nether drake, Zzeraku.

Onyxia is plotting in Stormwing in order to take over the human kingdom. Her plan to Kill Varian failed.

His brother Nefarian experiments to create the perfect dragon race, leading to the creation of chromatics "dragons", Chrommagus and Chromatus.

The experients of Sintharia and Nefarian will help the Twilight hammer the create twilights dragons and the biggest of them, Ultraxion.


                                                ---- Green Dragonflight----

Malfurion is learning the way of druidism with Cenarius.

Many decade after the War of the Ancients, Fandral and his followers planted a seed of the World tree to stop the proliferation of the blood of Yogg-Saron on the surface of Azeroth. The Old God corrupted Andrassil, creating a path for his corruption in the Emerald Dream. The druids finally decided to destroy Andrassil.

N'Zoth corrupting the four protectors of the Emerald Dream, Ysondre, Emeriss, Taerar and Lethon.

After discovering that the Atal'Ai priests are trying to invocate the blood god Hakkar, Itharius and Eranikus drowned the temple.

Tyrande trying to purify Emeriss from the Nightmare, leading to her destruction and Eranikus pushing away Lethon into a vortex.

                                                ----Red Dragonflight----

Korialstrasz and Krasus exchanging their scales during the War of the Ancients.

Rhonin breaking free the power of the Aspect from de Demon soul, releasing Alextrasza from Grim Batol. His first consort Tyranastrasz died in the battle against Deathwing.

Vaelastrasz is trying to put an end of the experiments of Nefarian, killing with heroes Rend Blackhand and his chromatic drake Gyth.

Rheastrasza succeeded to purify a black dragon egg, the one of Wrathion.

                                                  ----Bronze Dragonflight----

Nozdormu is sending back in the War of the Ancients Krasus, Rhonin and Broxigar.

Anachronos helping the elves in the War of the Shifting Sands. Merithra, Caelastrasz and Arygos going to hold back the Qiraji while the druids and Anachronos will close the gate.

The infinite flight began to threaten the flow of time while trying to change major events of the history: Thrall escaping from Durnhold and Arthas "purifying" Stratholm.

Nozdormu appeared to be the leader of the infinite dragonflight Moruzond in the End of Time.

                                                   ----Blue Dragonflight----

The blue dragonflight is exterminated by Neltharion with the power of the Dragon soul.

The elves of Crystalsong forest trying to defend against the blue dragons after stealing artefacts in the Nexus.

Arcanagos warning Medhiv to stop his dark plan. He get killed and changed into an undead known as Nightbane.

Kil'jaeden using the power of the Sunwell hidden in a mortal form Anveena, once protected by Kalecgos.

The Nexus War ended with the defeat of Malygos by the red dragonflight and heroes of Azeroth, leaving the blue dragonflight without leader.

Kalecgos is attacked by the twilight hammer under the order of Arygos. Tarecgosa freed him but his body get destroyed in the process.

Kalecgos is chosen to became the new Aspect by the blue dragons and Tarecgosa with the help of a mortal.



And finally the end of Deathwing by his own weapon and his former allies, leaded by Thrall.
